We know you all have been eagarly waiting more news on our newest Masters of Myth set Hades vs Susanoo. We are still working through some internal playtesting to ensure the power levels and playstyles are where we want it before we open up our public playtest events (keep an eye out for those). In the meantime we wanted to give a sneak peak at a few more cards that are going to be included in the next box. Keep in mind that all of these are still subject to change before release since we will still have playtesting to complete.
Cerberus
If you’re a fan of Hades this card was probably at the top of your wish-list to be included in his deck. Cerberus is a powerful guard minion boasting 4 power meaning he can handle most minions without any problem. He also comes with a special unique feat that brings a bit of flavor to his card. Cerberus will deal 3 damage to enemy gods if they search or summon a card from their discard. This is thematic with his role as a guardian of the underworld. If you try to trespass without permission you’re going to be in a world of hurt. Mechanically, this prevents some powerful recursion strategies from happening. For instance, Zeus’ Deathstate feat being able to search their deck or discard for a Lightning Bolt! card can be disrupted if they are searching their discard for that Lightning Bolt!. Taking 3 damage on top of paying for the feat and summoning a Lightning Bolt! may dissuade Zeus players from using that feat while Cerberus is on the field.

Additionally, Hades may have a few ways to force opponents to search their discard for a card, guaranteeing the damage. In combination with other cards in Hades’ deck, you can create some devastating combos.
Grass Cutting Sword
A legendary weapon retrieved by Susanoo have slaying the 8-Headed Dragon. While in the myth Susanoo would gift this weapon to his sister Amaterasu to redeem himself for his transgressions, the weapon was too iconic to not include. Grass Cutting Sword grants Susanoo 3 power while it is their turn. This can allow you to put the hurt on other gods with a direct attack or take out a bothersome minion. If you’ve got a guard blocking your onslaught, Grass Cutting Sword has an activated feat to an enemy minion back to it’s owners hand. This makes it a key card in ensuring your attacks are as impactful and damaging as possible.

Grass Cutting Sword may also be able to combo with cards that grant Susanoo additional power or give you an extra attack on your turn. Making your turn even more explosive.
But those are all the previews for now.
